simple...useful? i liked the idea of the ramp being a simple machine... machine for taking people to meet each other... for leading people to a meeting place....a machine for interation... however i wanted to explore some other types of ramps for further inspiration... i.e the images below...
The images above were the ones i liked the most. i liked the architectural elements that were involved in the ramp... separating the person from specific areas but opening up and defining others. i thought i might try to use some of these elements in my design. I want to used the ramp not only as a function to take peolpe to and away from the meeting space but also to highlight the 'wall' and the journey from the inside to the outside or visa versa....
